We consider Numeracy an important part of our ‘Core Business’ at MPS and dedicate key learning time to it daily as we follow the Victorian Curriculum. Each session begins with Fluency time where students work on individualized tasks and then students participate in differentiated activities during the main session. Much investment in materials has been made so that we can provide students with a range of ways to explore concepts and have ‘hands-on’ learning time.


Our school participates in regular Numeracy Professional Development sessions for teachers so that we continue to provide best practice to our students.
