Mother Goose

Our ‘Mother Goose’ program is a group experience for parents and their babies and toddlers (0 – 5). Our Educators, lead the group through a range of repetitive and interactive rhymes, songs and stories which are all presented orally. Each session runs for an hour with a break for morning tea to allow positive interactions for members of the group.

The benefits of the program include:

  • Strengthened bonds between parents and children
  • Strengthened development of children’s skills
  • Opportunities for parents to develop lasting friendships through the program.

Our Mother Goose program is run each Friday in the Library from 9:30am – 10:30am. Please contact the school if you would like more information.

Community Library

At Murchison Primary School we love to see children reading and enjoying books with members of the family. Our Community Library is open each Friday morning, 9:30am – 10:30am, for members of our local community who have children aged 0 – 5. Families can select from a range of age appropriate books and ‘borrow’ these through our school library system.

Please contact the school if you would like to access a great range of books for your children.
